We embrace a team approach; we work closely with parents, fellow service providers, and teachers to consider a child’s unique needs when developing and implementing a treatment plan designed to improve their overall function and independence. Together, we can make a difference.

Early Intervention (birth – 2.11 years): To help infants and toddlers with disabilities, our providers pay special attention to the educational component in developing a mentally and linguistically appropriate curriculum that is culturally sensitive. We recognize the central role of the parents in their children’s development and learning.
Preschool (3 – 5): We work closely with the Committee on Preschool Special Education to appropriately assess the developmental and educational needs of preschoolers. For eligible children, services are arranged in a variety of settings to best suit the child’s needs including home, daycare, and preschool environments.
School Age (Grades K – 12): Our presence in a school district is to improve a student’s educational well being by developing the skills needed for greater independence and safety. We encourage group interaction to promote greater generalization of skills in the classroom. We currently are providing services in more than 60 school districts.
SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT
Our office coordinators are dedicated to furnishing both our clients and service providers with unlimited support. We are easily accessible to help with administrative tasks, offer guidance with adhering to state regulations, and problem solve whatever issue may be at hand.
FOR CLIENTS: We offer staff development to our clients looking for training in specific areas including but not limited to behavior management strategies, fine-motor skills involved in handwriting, and safe transfers for the physically impaired.
PROVIDERS: We invite our service providers to attend our regular workshops and trainings presented by guest speakers and in-house specialists. Providers not only benefit from the information relevant to the provision of services, but are also eligible to receive continuing education units.
